Led Driver
An essential part of every LED lighting system is an LED driver. Here is a brief summary of their identity and functions:
Function: An LED driver controls and provides an LED or a string of LEDs with the appropriate voltage and current. Unlike conventional incandescent lights, LEDs require a precise and consistent power source in order to operate.
Importance: A driver is necessary to keep LEDs from burning out since their properties change as they get older and more temperature-sensitive. It does this through:
converting the mains power supply of your building's AC (alternating current) to the low-voltage DC (direct current) required for LEDs.
maintaining a steady current to prevent overheating and LED burnout.
